CAN BRITISH COOK?

Who says British can´t cook?????
They are famous for their PIES

If you happen to have lunch in England, try one of the typical English pubs but make sure that you find COTTAGE PIE on the menu , otherwise, not really British!!!

I suddenly forgot the main ingredients of a typically British COTTAGE PIE

Please, take a look at these pictures and tell me which of these do you need to make it.

Don´t forget to use "some, a , an" to refer to the ingredients.

Can you tell me the difference between COTTAGE PIE and SHEPHERD´S PIE ?

  1. Hi Ana
    Cottage Pies is a cake of minced beef covered with mashed potato. You need to make it:
    * an onion
    * a carrot
    * some oil
    * some beef mince
    * some flour
    * some tomato sauce
    * some potatoes
    * some butter
    * some salt and pepper

    Cottage Pie and Shepherd's Pie are very similar. Shepherd's Pie is made from lamb whereas Cottage Pie uses beef.
    I hope you like it.
